VISION AND MISSION OF BSRTI
VISION:

To transform into a vibrant institution for providing R & D services for improving rural economy and generation of human resources to disseminate the appropriate technologies.

MISSION:

1. To generate appropriate tropical technologies that would lead to significant increase in silk production.
2. Work for the improvement in field productivity, which would be carried out through low cost innovative technologies for overall improvement of socio-economic conditions of rural poor and women.
3. Impart training of the extension staff to systematize silk production processes by excellent extension.
